How to use Data Dump

Installing & using the add-on

The add-on functions are found in the bottom section of the Extensions menu in your google sheets

Install Data Dump from the Google Workspace Marketplace - Link Here (link active soon). Just hit the install button and follow the simple steps.

The first time you run the add-on you will be asked to agree to a number of permissions. These define what Data Dump needs to access in your sheet in order to function properly.

Configuring Columns

The 'Setup your desired table' menu allows you to define the column titles that you wish to include in your table.

A sidebar will open with some default column titles which you can use, modify, delete and add to. When ready click 'Save configuration'

Selecting Data

The 'Import data from your source' menu takes you to the import wizard which will guide you through:

pasting in your copied table.
mapping the pasted columns to the specific column headings you want.
moving the selected data into the structure you configured earlier.
