"Data Dump" Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the Data Dump add-on (the "Service") operated by geek in a Cape ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you do not have permission to access the Service.

1. Definitions

  • Add-on/Service: Refers to the Data Dump software application, including any updates, enhancements, and related documentation.

  • User/You: Refers to the individual or entity accessing or using the Add-on.

  • Service Provider/We/Us/Our: Refers to Geek in a Cape, the developer and provider of the Add-on.

  • Third-Party Services: Refers to any services, applications, or platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, payment processors for donations) that are not owned or controlled by us, but are integrated with or used in conjunction with the Add-on.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Add-on, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Add-on on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms for that organization and representing that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case, "you" and "your" will refer to that organization.

3. Use of the Add-on

3.1 Permitted Use

The Add-on is provided to you for personal and/or internal business use, subject to these Terms. You may use the Add-on to enhance your productivity within the Google Workspace environment as intended by its design.

3.2 Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Add-on for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

  • Copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Add-on.

  • Sell, rent, lease, distribute, or otherwise transfer the Add-on to any third party.

  • Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices contained in or on the Add-on.

  • Use the Add-on to transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Add-on or the data contained therein.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Add-on or its related systems or networks.

3.3 User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your Google Account credentials.

  • All activities that occur under your Google Account in connection with the Add-on.

  • Ensuring that your use of the Add-on complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including data privacy laws.

4. Free Service & Donations

4.1 Free Access

Data Dump is provided to you free of charge. There are no mandatory fees for its core functionality.

4.2 Optional Donations

We may provide an optional donation link within the Add-on or its related promotional materials. Any donations made are entirely voluntary and greatly appreciated, as they help support the ongoing development, maintenance, and improvement of Data Dump and other Geek in a Cape Add-ons. Donations are not a payment for the Service and do not confer any additional rights, features, or guarantees beyond the standard free service. All donations are non-refundable.

5. Intellectual Property

The Add-on and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Geek in a Cape and its licensors. The Add-on is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both England and Wales and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Geek in a Cape.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Service or the information, content, or materials included therein. You expressly agree that your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

To the full extent permissible by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service, its servers, or emails sent from us are free of viruses or other harmful components. We will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Service, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Geek in a Cape, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a
